How to use Wormilizer

Wormilizer worm castings are a completely natural and safe soil supplement. They work by adding nutrients and microorganisms to your soil in a balance prescribed by nature. The recommendations that follow are based on reviews of research done with worm castings, communications with gardeners that use worm castings, and our own personal experimentation. All soils are different as are the plants grown in the soil. With that in mind, be ready to start your own experiments! We love to learn from our customers and share that learning with others. Please let us know what you have discovered so that we can pass new findings on.

Fruit Trees and Berries: For new plants mix 1 part Wormilizer to 3 parts loam in the transplant hole. For established plants, in the spring, add ½ inch around the plant and work into the top 3 inches of the soil.

Gardens: In the spring shortly before planting, apply 5-10 pounds of Wormilizer per 100 sq. ft. and work into the soil.

House plants: Work 2 tablespoons of Wormilizer into the top inch of soil, repeat every 3 months. Alternatively, water house plants using Wormilizer tea once a month.

Perennials: Spread ½ inch of Wormilizer into flower beds and work into the top 3 inches of the soil.

Potting Mix: 1 part Wormilizer to 3 parts potting soil. Alternatively use 1 part Wormilizer, 2 parts good quality loam and 1 part vermiculite.

Roses, shrubs & trees: In late spring, spread ½ inch of Wormilizer around plants and work into the top 3 inches of the soil.

Vegetable and annual transplants: Add ½ cup of Wormilizer to the transplant hole.

Wormilizer Tea: Add 1/2 cup of Wormilizer to 1 gallon of water*. Let steep for at least 24 hours, shake the container occassionally. Use the "tea" to water your house plants, vegetable garden, rose bushes, flower beds and even the lawn.
