About D&T Worm Farm

D & T Worm Farm is located in Southeastern Connecticut; it is one of the very few worm farms in New England. We specialize in vermicomposting; the utilization of earthworms to accelerate and enhance the natural composting processes. The harvesting and sale of vermicasts, the natural by-product of vermicomposting, provides a source of revenue to sustain our operation.

We sell worm castings marketed as Wormilizer and also vermicompost - organic compost enriched with worm castings. Vermicompost is an economical alternative to pure worm castings and it is intended for small scale farmers, vineyards, and other agricultural ventures.

We are working to obtain organic certification for our castings and vermicompost and are hopeful that this goal will be met soon.

We believe wholeheartedly that earthworms have the capacity to restore our planet through their ability provide a sustainable solution to organic waste management and produce a completely natural soil amendment at the same time.
